Had a limestone tile (Dakota??) floor....custom....to clean today. The grout was a challenge, so the installer met me there, and proceded to 175 it with a green pad and my pre-spray, and his 600 grit powder. I followed about 5 feet behind him with the SX12 at 1500 psi. All that fine grit in my tank, all over the hoses, all over me. I shut down the jabsco APO so I wouldn't burn up the impeller, and hose dumped into a nice pile of rocks on the property. Installer stayed and polished with a finer grit and sealed the tile.

I don't think any cleaner on this board can compare to a "custom" installer that has been at it for 35 years. These guys usually "buy" the tile after installing it.....taking care of it and dealing with the cleaning when needed. The guy I work with has been in custom homes for 1 1/2 years at times, just installing, then honing and finishing the tile. He's been working on a local house here for 3 years, and still isn't finished with all the tile in the house.

Lot's of knowledge of tiles and finishes.
