One of my guys has been taking our 2" whip off and running 2.5 to the wand. It's not practical in most tight areas to use the 2.5 because it's just not flexable enough. What about two 15ft 1.5's y'd together? Would the friction of the smaller hose cancel out the gain?

Yeah it would... I run it to the wand once and a while and it's a pita for sure. I like to run a 25' 2" whip, it the sweet spot with my TM.

That would only really work if you had a Zipper because it is two wands in one.

If you have a two inch wand that is six feet long, then another twenty feet of two inch hose won't make a difference. If you have a glide on the wand, that will be your choke point anyway.
