I would like to help any of you guys, that are trying to upgrade their business...
If you have credit issues or simply want to move from a portable operation to a
entry level Truckmount.

This a 95 ford 1 ton van, with a slant six cylinder engine..Very dependable van, brand
new tires, alternator, battery, starter,tune-up,& all recently serviced.
The machine is a Avenger 210.New Johns custom machine HX,new pump, new coupler,
many new hoses & fittings, hose & solution reels, 150ft of each, and an AR 29 wand.

This unit has been loaned to a freind that was down on his luck. Health problems will
no longer allow him to clean. He will be returning it in 2 weeks.I will go through everthing
on this unit to make SURE it is in top-notch shape.

I will let the QUALIFIED members on this board estimated the value of this unit....!
I am not looking to make a PROFIT on this unit..."just trying to help the less fortunate"

Here are some pics from a few months ago..The unit looks MUCH BETTER NOW...
It has been buffed out & the hose reels are installed. NEW pics in 2 weeks...!!

Joe, just for clarification sake, unless someone buggered in an old MoPar engine, it's not a "slant" six
It's a 4.9ltr (300 cid) "in-line straight six" which was only used in trucks/vans and is a VERY good engine.
It ain't no ball of fire for acceleration , but has loads of torque and will pull a heavy loaded van over hill and dale with ease

Funny you would say that....I got 4 of these vans, in a carpet deal."Bartered"..

1 was given to a young woman that cleaned houses...
She had 2 kids & a DEAD-BEAT x-husband....

The other 2 were donated to small churches...

T.. your opinion would greatly appreciated on a fair $$$$$.

The Members on this board....will name the Price on this UNIT.... :!: :!: :!:

I would guess 2000-3000 for the van and 2000- 3000 for the truckmount ALL depending on mileage and hours on machine. Kelly blue book the van for private party. My cherry 1994 E-150 with a 4.9L and 162,000 miles is worth about 2,000 but runs like a top. That looks like a great starter setup for someone.

I would say

4500 to 5000 would be a fair price for the truck and cleaning unit

Harper,

That looks exactly like one of my old set ups. I got rid of the heat exchanger because they kept breaking and put in a burner. I gave it to someone with a little over 6000 hrs on it. It was on it's second engine and it still ran like a champ. It was a very reliable machine for me, it never left me stranded. I did carry a couple of extra couplers with me just in case. I'm sure who ever gets it will be very happy.

THANKS KEN...

Gene,

That was the only problem with the AVENGER...HX's were crap...

I am very impressed with John's after market HX...The heat is impressive...

He changes all the header exhaust to SS..Plus the HX is quality SS..$1200.00.

But well worth the Price!!!!

Ps I think this machine only has 1500 hrs "I'll check on that#"

Gene,

Did your wand ...Have the shut-off valve at the wand ...to by-pass the hot water
to the waste tank, when the wand was not being used.????

Harper,

My wand did indeed have the bypass at the wand. It was a real mess the few times I started the machine with the solution hose attached and not the vacuum. A lot of water came out that little valve. That little problem disappeared when I went to the burner. I quickly got tired of repairing the left unit. It was always the left one that broke on mine, the black one on yours. Seeing those pictures brought back some interesting memories. I had mine in the sliding door instead of the back door but that was the only difference.

OK.........

There are a lot of deserving guys out there...Some old & some young.... :|

There are a lot of you guys that are really struggling, lot of touching stories..

HERE IS THE DEAL...I need some more specific details....

1.Are you married, or single.?
2.Do you have small children & their ages.?
3.Is this a part-time business.?
4.What kind of equipment do you have now...."pics if possibly".?
5.Have you ever operated a truckmount before.?
6.If you have equipment.? Are you willing to trade it in.?
7.How long have you been in business for 'YOURSELF".?
8.If your equipment is down...How much to repair.?
9.Do you have a van, but need a truckmount.?
10.Do you have a truckmount, but need a van.?

IF YOU HAVE NO MONEY & NO WAY TO GUARANTEE PAYMENTS... :!:
YOU ARE "NOT" DISQUALIFIED...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If possible, I may be able to help 3 of you instead of just 1.......

For example:

1 guy needs a van...
1 guy needs a truckmount...
1 guy needs money to repair his truckmount...
1 guy needs a portable...
1 guy needs everthing...

1 guy must think that I am IDIOT...
"BECAUSE (HE) IS A LAIR,CHEAT,& A HUCKSTER"...
IT AIN'T HAPPENING FOR YOU BUD.. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Harper,

I think this is a great thing you are doing to try and help someone out. Unfortunantly, there is not a alot of givers out there these days. I would like to donate a used Prochem Upholstery Tool to the person you decide would be in need the most. This could be a life changing oportunity for someone. When you decide who needs what, let me know and I will ship it to them. Keep up the good work, I believe in ten fold, god bless!

You are a good egg ERIK..... :!:

I will PM you with the person's name....

I don't think I will post there name on the open board...????

Most of these guys...are proud young men...It seems that the down-turn in this
economy will put them out of business if they don't get a little help soon. :(

Some of these guys are only a $500.00 repair or part from loosing there biggest accnt...
They are tapped-out...credit cards are maxed...credit is shot...owe there familys money...
I WAS THERE ONCE... IT IS EMBARRASSING....But it is not HOPELESS....!

Some need to find a job....But there are a couple that just need a break...!

PS As much as I HATE....to pump-up Mike;s head... I must tell you that you cannot
believe how many of these young men read every post on this board.!!!!! Half of these guys
have NEVER made a POST..But they are eager to learn everything they can to try to succeed.
Soooo... Paula, I can't IMAGINE what a PITA this board is for you.. :!: "Believe it or not"
Jughead is actually changing LIVES...

YUCK...!!!! "I have got to take a ShOWeR.." MAN I hate giving jugHEAD a complement

Joe I think 4500- 5000 is a good price. A friend has one of these. Before you mount it see if you can put some kind of rubber bushing under those exchangers.

His has a John's ex also. Great little unit for there size. Hook a good wand and they will clean quite well.

The machine is probably worth more than the van. It's potetial for makin income is pretty high.

My hats off to you for this idea and care to help someone in need.

Keep us informed how it is going.

YOU DA MANN!
