Do you any of you owners consider puting logos on your personal vehicles?
whether it be a bumper sticker, license plate frame, window decal or full wrap?

The more advertising the better but I know how some of you feel about your hot rods or trucks.
I am the same way but if you have a really nice car that might stand out why not advertise?

I am looking to buy a truck pretty soon and may go as far as to wrap it up just to increase business and when I use it to pre inspect or help out on big jobs, it will look more pro.

Anyone have pics?

This can be considered clean when it comes to my truck.

So, I'm not sure what kinda message I'd be communicating by having my logo on it.

Beyond that.

My truck might be seen doing such things that some clients won't agree with.
Hauling home a deer, or elk.
Driving back from the river in the middle of winter, towing the boat filled with decoys.
Speeding
Truck park outside local bars, strip clubs, casinos.
Client calls, wants an appointment that week.. "I'm sorry I'm out of town this week on a IICRC class" That is odd, I just saw your truck leaving the walk in clinic, and then the Rite Aid pharmacy.

I think I have made my point.

I guess my personal truck is just that... Personal, and I like having a personal life beyond my cleaning business.

We've got a white Suburban with the logo on the rear quarter panels and the rear hatch. The logo is a lot smaller than on my work van and I have the website listed as well. Keep it a little smaller if it's not your primary work vehicle and it will look better.

It's extra advertising when my wife drops the kids off at school (i've gotten some good business that way) or goes shopping...etc. etc. I also will use it to do quotes from time to time. This way I can write off some of the expenses incurred with it. :D

That was the main reason for it.

I re-read your initial post... didn't read you were considering a wrap.

Wraps are OK but in my opinion are not as good as they were when they were "unique". Everybody gets wraps these days. Personally, I think for an owners vehicle... less is more. Your gonna be sick or your wrap if it's your daily ride.

No,

For one, my personal vehicles are pieces of shit. I don’t think anyone would call because of it unless it was a wrap. It’s a bad idea anyways Brian everyone would see your company car down at the Porn-Mart

I can walk to the pornmart thank you very much.
It's carrying all that stuff home that's the problem.

And then your wife walks in and says, " Not now Brian, its not time to play with our toys, now put them back in the closet like a good boy!"

I've got 40 something purple & lettered vehicles that put about a million miles a year on the metro detroit roadways, I deserve to not have to be on all the time in the personal ones.
