Powr-flite 1/2 HP Dryer deal.....any good?

Yep, bought two of them some years ago .
I "think" they were $99 at that time .
Same deal, mailer for first time only custys.
I had to call and twist their arm cause I had bought from them once previously .
they gave me the sale price
they're well worth the price and we've used them quite a bit
Jump on 'em
I don't recall what the shipping cost was, but it was "normal" for the size and wt of them .
$40 bukz for the pair, I'm thinking???..And thats from out west to Ohio
i figure it may be more now cause gas was "normal" price back when i bought mine.
But again, no "hidden" charges and no "gouging" on the shipping
a damn good value for the average brokedick that uses them for speed drying carpets and occasional small water damage dry downs.
That's how we use 'em.

they're still a good buy at a buck-forty, Joe
Ours have been abused and knocked around pretty good ..and still work great
as good or better than any of the $200-$250 class airmovers I've had

Our experience was the opposite. We bought a pallet load and quickly realized they were too fragile to handle the normal bumps of on-location transport and use. Our repair guy was fixing scraping squirrel cages constantly. We finally relagated them to in=plant use and bought more Dri-Eaz for on-location use. When one of the Powr-Flites caught fire at night and burned a hole in our dry room floor we quit using them unattended. Now if one gets out of alignment we toss it. Definitely a case of getting what you pay for.
