I was going to purchase the 2010 version but have read many bad reviews on it.

Do any of you guys have this version? If not, which version do you recommend instead?

I had problems from day 1 using ( trying ) it with Windows 7.

I like to use Thunderbird as my email program.

With the above, I was only able to use ( I think ) Outlook Express, which I hate with a vengeance.

A few months in and W7 shit itself.

Replaced under warranty.

In the end, I ditched it all.

Gave my new laptop with Windows 7 and 2010 Quicken to my niece.

I bought a 2nd hand IBM for $400.00, put on a copy of XP I had, installed my old Quicken Small Business Plus 2006/7.

Everything runs perfect for me now.

I also take this on the road with my Canon iP100 printer to do instant invoices, reports, quotes, etc;

The other necessary item I have is my mobile swipe machine for instant credit card transactions.

That's my experience with it.

Before you buy, make sure it is compatible with other hardware/software that you will be using.

Bye, bye.

I've got QB 09 and it's been perfect. I can't imagine what QB 10 would change so drastically to make it suck.

I't been working on my windows 7...but I've only had the computer a few weeks.

We was forced into upgrading early to QB Pro2010 due to conflicts with Win7 & Merchant Services

We normally upgrade every other year unless there are major improvements.

All in all we haven't had any issues with QB Pro 2010 & have been using QB for a very long time.

I'm running QB 09 on my windows 7 and it works fine so far...knock on virtual wood.

Billy, what version were you running before QB 10?

QB Pro 2009 but all of the sudden it just started crashing constantly so we checked the net & with Intuit. Both places had enough info about the problems we just decided this would have to be a year we buy early. 2010 has actually been more stable & does a better job with credit processing.

Thanks
