For those of you up to date on Mold remediation.

What do you find is the most productive

Dry Ice blasting or plain ol sanding?

What is the biggest drawback to dry ice blasting?

Thanks for the help

The biggest set back to dry ice is having a good reliable source for it, and or the space to store a mass amount of it to make it a cost effective option.

Ice is always going to be faster, it's the added materials expense that usually rules it's use out. Although when you compare it to conventional sanding and clean up it may not be that expensive.

Rental of ice blasters is an option too, and usually the rental guy sells you coolers with enough dry ice to finish your project.

Probably the biggest concern would be using dry ice in a small enclosed space, it can take the oxygen out of the air.
