About an hour ago I went and did a "test" area for a local new owner gas station... I don't think it was ever cleaned before and the last owner used Pinesol to clean. I was over all happy with the grout though it hadn't dried yet and was hard to tell but it would not release anything after my second app. of oxyblaster@ 1 1/2 scoops per half gal..

My problem was the actual tile, the dimples(for lack of a better word) seem like they could have come cleaner... I just wanted to break out a scrubber(175) to give it a good scrub down. If I don't have one of them cool tile pads what color pad would you use ,or wouldn't you use one? I think a red pad would be plenty but I really don't know anything as far as tile.

There was a big improvement but I am aiming for "like new"..

every once in a white those dimples will have left over grout in them.

Oxy Blaster and then Cobbs acid would be my plan of attack.

and a 175/Malgrit brush from Jon Don or a fresh black pad.

Beware of vct finish on com. Tile. Do you get a fizz from acid on the grout?
If not you may have a topical and need to strip

Cobbs acid? Haven't heard of this. What is it and how is it used?

No fizz when I put Oxiblaster low ph... I'm not sure if the Oxiblaster stuff would fizz though I have used it a couple of times with no fizz. I'm going to try stripper.

I used the regular Oxyblaster, but also tried the low PH on an area... Would a product like mop and glow be a problem?? I know the old owner and wouldn't be surprised at anything she might have used..
