A member here sent me this wondering what is going on..

Zep stripper wouldn't touch it...

Took a razor to get SOME of it off.

I'm guessing someone sprayed a lacquer on it, creating those droplets..

The lacquers I used years ago in my automotive days re-dissolved easily with lacquer thinner. Is there a lacquer-based floor finish? That's a new one on me.

Dan is right, lacquer comes right off with lacquer thinner. If someone was working on the cabinets it would probably be a two part conversion finish. Much hard to remove.
