Does anyone here know of a clear concrete sealer that will put a lasting shine on concrete? It needs to hold up to desert type conditions for summer and rain/snow in the winter (Sparks, NV). I've used a product in the past called TK Bright Cure but that was more of a color enhancer, any suugestions? Thanks, Bill

Have you used their products Cam? I'm calling Ken at Western Concrete Supply tomorrow, but exploring all options looking into Elitecrete and Prosoco's stuff as well

Hi Bill,

There are a couple of ways to go depending on the condition of the concrete and/or level of current polish. If the surface isn't finished a two part acrylic urethane will give you the longest lasting, least maintenance finish.

You can also go with water based thermoplastic acrylic polymer.

Durability is a small step down but it is much easier to use.

If the concrete is at least a 400 polish you can use a guard. This product is burnished into the concrete and gives a very high polish.

I have been using the SmartKrete Smart Guard from Stone Pro. I really like it. It isn't as durbale to foot traffic as something like LS Guard, but you don't have to have a propane burnisher either. It's easy to burnish and gives a super nice gloss.
