I do, they have a huge internet presence and several names besides flood control, they establish websites in major cities and are growing fast.
They get lot's of calls and then sell the leads at 30% of the job total. And yes they have false addresses everywhere. They have no real world knowledge of restoration work.
Tri State Floods and Flood Squad are 2 more, Flood Squad has a bunch of names too, they also try to sub out cleaning leads at the same 30% rate. Flood Squad tries for 50% from newbies and unskilled carpet cleaners :shock:
At one time they all had better % that you could make money with and we did JOBS at 10 -20% of the total, so I know they get a ton of calls. During storms when they would call us you could hear all the phones ringing in the background.
Some of them don't screen the restoration companies and will give the work to anyone and that is bad for our industry.
They also tell the client someone will be there in 45 minutes and then they start looking for a company to do the work, so the client can already be upset and you can be late before you even get the call.
