On my pro 1200's waste tank there is a single baffle in the middle, hanging from the top about 12-14 inches, and the width of the tank. It seems it could hold much more waste if that baffle had a few holes in it or was shorter.

Do any of you know how high I can put the holes, or if there even a good idea? I understand that the tank shouldn't be brimming full but 12-14 inches seems excessive. I don't have a float to worry about.

Thanks

Just be careful, the tank may be depending on that particular baffle to prevent foam and such from entering the blower so easily.

On our old slide in with 47 I did just that, drilled some holes, bette airflow, but it was more prone to pull foam, not a big deal on our unit but some have Blower HX, and that could be an issue. It's one of the big reasons HydraMaster re-designed their new tank.
