Word to the wise concerning product prices.

Make sure you are factoring dilution ratios. There are a few new "budget" products out there being pushed as economical. There are a few old products out there being said as cheaper or more economical than you regular this or that.


Make sure you are factoring usage cost NOT UNIT cost. This is my thought for the day.

I watch my products very closely for that.

Wait to see products which are priced the same as usual but contain fewer oz or pounds for the same price.

Food products are priced that way instead of raising the price just give less product!

I know it seems very basic but I have noticed a few not really paying attention to the fine print. I have no desire to get into being critical of any particular product. I just wanted to reemphasize dilution ratios when factoring price. That and having to add more product of this or that after a couple of hours.

Shelf life waste and rechargeing weakened product are also cost considerations.

My favorite test procedure for presprays is to compare:

1. A dollar's worth of current prespray

with

2. A dollar's worth of the new prespray.

That is the true comparison for your prespray VALUE.
