What ever happened to:

1 Pre-vac
2 Pre-spray with a good chem, of which you can get info on here on the BB
3 Agitate
4 Extract with HOT water, preferably high flow, and mixed with a rinse
5 If you don't have a high performance vac system, use air movers to speed dry

Stop bullshittin' the custys with all this crap about electro this and chem free that....I'm better than the other guys.....

Just clean the friggin' carpet, do a good job, don't overcharge and don't sell them the Moon, and most of all....be courteous.

I've been doing it for 35 years and all's well....little of the process has changed.

The word "prespray" is such a stupid word regarding the process of cleaning carpet.

In fact the word "prevacuum" is another stupid term also.

Just say I'm going to vacuum and spray on some cleaner then I'm going to rinse and suck it out.

I always think of how customers think we are so stupid when we use terms like PRESPRAY or PREVACUUM.

No wonder we have such an image problem.

And what's up with the term ENAPSULATION?

"Sir , I'm going to encapsulate your carpet"

How utterly stupid.

But anyway Robert you are a HACK!

Thank you, Jimmy.....i couldn't have got a better reference than from you, the man that loves his mudder-inlaw.

I seldom pre-vac, but I do pre-spray. I don't tell my custys what I'm doing 'less they ask.

I'm still scared of clowns. They creep me out......just watch Modern Family.

I'll bet me and you could hack out a few rentals in no time flat! We may be one in the same....
