To all those CC'ers that also encap regularly, what are you using as a solution? There are so many friggin' different products out there that one cannot possibly test and try them all. I've tried ProCaps from PC (I had a case of it), a little of Ricky's juice, and lastly, I tried Encapuclean O2. All seemed to work alright. So for those that have experience in encapping, what is the best bet?

Releasit. We have used everything else and it never lets us down. I order it 55 gallons at a time.

Which one smells the best? I here good things about the smell of Surround & EncapGreen is pleasant. I like the teatree oil smell but the coughing issue is not preferred. Snake Oil smells like straight up ammonia which would offend residential and occupied buildings in my opinion but it cleans well.

Yeah, admittedly Snake Oil does have an ammonia kick to it when mixed strong. Encap Green isn't bad at all... Kind of a citrus-ish scent. The ProFresh scent of Surround Ultra is my personal preference (in terms of scent). Strawberry Peroxcellent or PadCap Pro are a close tie for second. That said, scent is a personal preference (just because you like it doesn't mean your customer will) the only safe choice is no scent at all. Surround Free (no scent at all) may be a good choice in that regard.

Tell you what, I'll make it easy to try a few products so you can find one you like (or stock up on your favorite:

Buy a case of any Surround Product and I'll refund up to the first $30 in shipping (this is a standing offer).

Buy a case of Snake Oil and a Qt of Magic Bullet and get a full refund on shipping.

Buy a case of Vacaway Peroxcellent or Releasit Hydrox and get a $20 rebate on shipping.

Buy a case of Releasit DS2 & Releasit EncapPunch and get a free box of Planetary Pads.

and just because its that time of year:

Buy 5 or more cases (mix and match) and recieve a free VacAway Spotting Kit and a full refund on your shipping. (Orders over $400 alwsy get free shipping). Orders of 5 cases or more also recieve a free VacAway Spotting Kit until Jan 3.

All offers are for the lower 48 states but I'll do a flat $30 off to Hawaii, Alaska & Canada. Offers are good until January 3rd, 2013. Offers don't combine with other promotions or coupons. (Sorry guys I have kids to feed, lol). Just put "Holiday Special" in he comments section.

Smell wise Padcap Pro and Peroxcellent do smell pretty good and clean very well.

We like Hotknife, Pad Cap Pro, Peroxcellent, Snake Oil, Releasit.

We will bounce around between the sales on these products, I don't think you can't lose using any of these products.:headbang:

Stick with what smells good.

www.bonnetpro.com has FREE shipping on orders.

I just wait for the interlink CAD day and get my scampoo 25% off.

$90 for a case of Encapuclean O2

Why order thru a internet middleman?

I like CTI's Brushes & Bonnets. It smells ok and works really well. I'm also happy with the BrushPro stuff. I don't like the line of products carried by Interlink. There either have a strong smell or they didn't clean that well.

Vacaway just came out with a new Encap Green advanced cleans great also smells good just lite citrus. There Hot Knife and peroxcellant also work great and they work really well if you mix them together. Releasit products are just as good also the DS,Hydrox and Punch all great products. Surroud smells good and cleans good but resoils very fast and so I do not use it. For normal soils the DS , hotknife and encapgreen will work the best the hydrox and peroxcelant work really well in situations that have alot of spots and stains.

I ended up using Encapuclean02 because I've had experience with it before. Really brightens the carpet. Swirls from the Cimex was a little evident, but with vaccing and traffic, they will all disappear.

This was very low profile, older nylon commercial carpet. It's lookin' better each time I stop by to check it out. It's a mezzanine.....only used by walkers on their lunch break.

You're right they will walk the swirls out.

These double headed monsters work great for large areas.
