Here is the hotel....and the bar is right across the street with a great selection of Microbrews and other fare.
We are at Clearwater Beach right now having a great time!
75 degrees last night when we got in.
(and is -20 below zero with -35 degree windchill at home)
the guy who was the bartender Dave) at the Hilton Tiki Bar is now over across the street at the Tap House which was the Mandalay Bar and Café.
Fun times down here....Look for more

Our windchill tomorrow is supposed to be -21 below and I thought that was bad.
I just told by radio rep to doubled up on my water damage commercial the next couple of days.

Made it to a fun hang out and shopping and eating place...
Plus the very first place my wife was able to play with dolphins in the channel while we were on jet ski's.....of course, she was out playing and I had already broke mine from massive wave jumping....
But John's Pass is a fun place to check out

Usually always see dolphins out playing and lots of activity around
And this is how we have been feeling here in the warmth and just out putting on the miles....and the dogs are wore out each night. They won't know what to do when they get home to the cold too
Out to find dinner....ended up at the Brown Boxer tonight....lots of great places here!
And awesome sunsets! Live music at a lot of places too

We are flying into Tampa. We will hire a car to bring us to the Hotel and cabs when we need them.

As I have mentioned in the past, we have a little condo in Gulf Shores. The thought has crossed my mind of "retiring" there early, as my son runs the place in Pigsville. I'd just start up a small operation in Gulf Shores. That thought only crosses my mind briefly. I can't imagine my wife not killing me after a couple of months with me in a 450 s.f. condo, nor me losing my mind after looking at white sand every day, day in day out. Plus, I can't imagine working with a portable all day. Cleaning with a TM would not work down there. And, since everything down there is managed by one property management company or another, I'd be working with PROPERTY MANAGERS all the time!
