They would probably prefer to live on the after than the before, then again how does a carpet get like that to start.We would actually refuse to clean that type of situation.
We always tell them to save and apply the money to new, or at least tear it out and save for new.
And of course as we all know, there is going to be other work needing to be done before reinstalling new flooring over that area.
We tell them how bad it will smell once we get it wet trying to clean it.
That kind of job is just a constant call back of trouble.... And no carpet cleaning is going to fix that no matter how big of "super sucker TM" you own!

Several of my customers would be pissed at me for showing a picture of their house.
- "Step 1: Pull up carpet.
- Step 2: Remove affected pad.
- Step 3: Clean back of carpet.
- Step 4: Treat floor with an enzyme treatment.
- Step 5: Seal floor if needed with an odor barrier.
- Step 6: Treat back of carpet with enzyme treatment.
- Step 7: Install new tack strip.
- Step 8: Install new pad.
- Step 9: Re-install carpet.
- Step 10: Clean carpet.
- Step 11: Topically apply enzyme."

Step one: Explain to the customer the extensive work necessary to do the job the right way, the time involved, and the small fortune it will cost.
Step Two: Try to keep a straight face during their blank stare, and then offer a second, considerably cheaper option, making sure to address it's limitations.
Step Three: Wait for their response.
Step Four: Schedule the cleaning only.
Did you use a open quick connect to flush around your claw?I let em know its just a dilution process .. I'm not interested in pulling and tacking carpet down. I recently used a water claw on 2 spots and it left impressions of the claw I couldn't fully remove. I scrubbed and brushed and I could still see a faint impression. Anybody know why?
