Not having used Procyon, I can't say - but if it's safe for naturals does it really do well on trashed synthetics?

"Boosting" changes the game.

So, if I was to only have one prespray, and was unable to boost it, my top choices would most likely be products that already contain an effective oxidizing component.

If I can only have ONE and no boosting allowed: Powermax (and hoping I have a decent mix on hand, that dissolves and works as it should be)
When it works, it works excellent and I like that it has citrus AND oxidizer in it.

If I were HWE only it would be Soils and oils, wool safe and can clean everything form light soil to trashed carpet (mixed heavy).

But I clean VLM too, so if only one pre spray it would be procyon extreme. Cleans every thing from light to heavy soil, wool safe, good for upholstery, great hwe pre spray and is great for vlm too . Could handle all the different kinds of applications all by it's self. Through in some oxy boaster and go to work on tile and grout

Whoa...Ofer...Now that you mention it: today talking with my brother (Australia ) and sister in law (Germany) racoon issues came up. My brother says he would just catch it and try to "throw it on the barbie, OZ style"...

Here is what gets interesting: for some reason I know that racoon's Latin name is Procyon!!

So does Procyon contain any MSG and/or actual racoon parts?? Since it's called Procyon....

Don't ask...but this has been a weird day of connections like that.

By the way, look it up Procyon lotor is Racoon.

In my defense, I grew up on the Beatles:

th?id=JN.iP8DTM%2bhAqyS75iF7Avdiw&pid=15.1&w=100&h=125&p=0.jpg

"Now somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota
There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon
And one day his woman ran off with another guy
He hit young Rocky in the eye
Rocky didn't like that he said I'm gonna get that boy

So one day he walked into town
Booked himself a room in the local saloon
Rocky Raccoon checked into his room
Only to find Gideon's bible
Rocky had come equipped with a gun
To shoot off the legs of his rival"

Where are you finding it not working, or is it that you are getting inconsistent batches?

I only used a 6.5 lb jar of Powermax, but am going to order a 45 lb pail and give a real trial.

I've been using Rotovac Oxy-Enzyme and it is removing just about all spots and stains without any post treatment. Very happy with it.

Makes life easy being able to use the same product on carpet or T&G. Being in FL, 30% of all jobs are a combination of the two.

With powermax, it's all about the batch quality. If you get a nice bucket you're good to go and tackle most all of your jobs. But if you get a bad bucket..... The stuff is crap.

Ross;

PowerMax is used by many customers for both "Tile & Grout" and Carpet.

Also, we have customers on this board which have used PowerMax for over 5 years and never seen a single inconsistent pail.

One technician makes ALL of the PowerMax, and he is very careful to make it carefully.

Larry,

BTW, I had a small problem with my last order and Ray took care of it right away for me.

I also talked to him about different products and he made some recommendations to me.

He also told me ways to save on shipping and quantity discounts that I didn't know were available.

Thanks, Ross
