To cheap ?

Wow I went for a free est. new customer. Large home over 10 K under roof and valued at over 4 mill. The cleaning was all of the second floor and maybe a large room on main floor. The house is on many acres and has planes and horses and other things. The owner said he would pay $ 20 a room. I said that most of the rooms were 3 time larger than a standard room . I gave a free est of $300 for the second floor and $ 50 for the room on the main floor. I left and someone else got the job. But I saw a really neat home .but not for this carpet cleaner. jz.

I would have quoted the job over the phone and ignored everything unrelated to the work. I don't care if they're rich or poor. How long would it take to do the job?

That's true, but people who charge by the room are the ones who run into problems.... Jackie said most rooms were 3x larger than a standard room.... My pops always ran into this when he did per room pricing.... While I agree you need a sf limit on per room pricing, people will still try to pull a fast one...

How many square feet for 350.00? 1000 sf would be the tops for me.

People usually keep buying like that until the day something real bad happens.

THEN they call you to fix it...
