He said that was a problem for him. I told him employees do as they see. We had many good conversations over some beers from the corner store. We both gave each other good honest opinions for each other to think about. He's the one that said I'm missing out not doing color sealing. You have a good kid. It was good talking with someone that wasn't telling stories on how much they make or charge. Just good conversation and a pleasure to be around. You can't say that about many 25 year old kids.

Thanks Louis

Turns out the new helper is distracted and not up to the task of "dual wanding" yet..

virtually unheard of here.:shifty:

And he's been showing up early.

Thanks Bill and Steve!

Give them the tools and info....the desire will usually be there too....

I have just had to learn to get out of their way a lot of times....

Try to lead by example, but then get out of the way :)

Awesome to hear....

That's great but don't let him burn out. He needs balance.

Work hard, play hard like dad does. :winky:

Burns and the sun staying out fkn long threw me off...:shifty: (In my defense, my pops started dozing off first) Good info from the class, I need to review it.... Chuckie, lil Billy, and long winded Steveie........

Mine fell down his first stair case yesterday. Wooden stairs with prespray on his shoes. Thank goodness he didn't yank the handrail off the wall trying to stop himself.

Of course, I acted like I'd never done such a thing.

Twice down stairs. Both times they were wood. No one saw or heard so it never happened. Lost a little skin and bruised my ribs but came out pretty clean. Luckily I didn't have any tools in my hands.

Glazed tile and grout floor....pink in color!

Raining outside....came in and fell down 4 times in the same spot....

Thankfully no one home....

Talk about irritating though! (guess I've always done my own stunts  )

Another time, did fall down flight of stairs and twisted ankle good....1 month to get it to feel better.

I'm Sorry, but after doing what I have done I would "offer" nights and weekends, but wouldn't push it. I'm perfectly happy 5 days a week.
