Red pads vs Fiberplus pads

I'm looking for alternatives to red 3M type pads for general agitation.

Although cheap and readily available, red pads seem to loose their "bite" and thin out fairly quickly on bigger jobs.

I'm considering FiberPlus (and FP Max) as alternatives.

They claim 7000-10,000 sq feet per pad, but ill take that with a grain of salt, and would be satisfied with even half of that.

Any other non-absorbent agitation only pad options I should be considering?

For my cimex ive run the pre-cut pads and I think they royally suck. I go down to the janitor store and purchase 175 pads and then cut them to size. Its a pia but They stay much more agressive throughout the cleaning and last 3x longer.

FP Max

We use a lot of the Fiber Plus but not very much of the Fiber Max.
The Max is more aggressive but it also doesn't seem to last as long.

I've cut 20" 3M pads in semi hex to make 7 x 7.8" pads for the Cimex

these are encap pads but maybe they will work better. the revive plus has hog hair and does not shed.

Be careful with colored pads (especially red). Some bright colored pads (though not all) will leach color onto the carpet, leaving a nice shade of pad-color on the fiber. Unfortunately when that occurs there's no way to correct it.

I've had great results with the 3M series 3300 white pad with hog hair, much better than std white. Just harder to get 8".

Hope the pads Rick sends work well, the next few weeks will be brutally busy and I hope to make things easier for the boys...and the truckmounts.

The DS2 does a fine job and is our go-to, along with "HydrOx" for organic spots.

Encap-Basic is a very solid encap performer. It cleans similar to Encap-Clean DS2. Encap-Clean DS2 has a little stronger concentration of raw ingredients in its formulation, and it contains Soileze protector. But if basic cleaning is what you're needing (moderate soil), or if tight budget constraints are a factor, then Encap-Basic is a good option. That's the thought behind the product "options".
