any more pics?
How loud is the unit with the doors closed?
does the unit pull any air from the outside to cool the blower pulleys, pump?
The blower and pump belts on my 1200 don't get very hot and don't need air flow to cool them. I don't remember changing them and they have 11K hours, but maybe I did; it's been 12 years now. The only thing I've had to replace was the front clutch and the radiator HX, both last year and both at about 10K hours.

Scott, the new Sapphire 1200 is the same basic concept as my 03 WM with lots of improvements and refinements. Right now I have about 10.8K hours, the hour meter doesn't register past 10K so it shows 800 hours. Last summer I was going to post about how maintenance-free the machine has been and I was one hour away from 10000 hours the van floor started filling with anti-freeze. The lower HX took a crap and I had to put in a new one. Modernistic, my local Sapphire distributor, had one in stock so I did the job myself that night after work.

It's a completely different animal and Art has been called out on that before by others.

It's going to take a few years before we actually know if this machine is any more or less problematic that the rest of their line.

I'm going to Interlink for the machine.

I've never been to Modernistic but will be at Nutech's CAD tomorrow.
Cool. I forgot about CAD. I'll stop in at NuTech after my 2nd job. Another great supplier around here.

You're right it's set up very different.

But it's the same thing. A pump, a blower, HXs and a driveshaft. What it's missing is a large industrial motor (and exhaust) sardined in with those components cooking them slowly until they're done.

My ac gets cold too but it's the combating the 150+ degrees in the truck when you first get in. And the ac doesn't really start working until you start moving. No, I do not have a divider.

I haven't been following this thread. How long have you had it? Long enough to know?

Nothing would make TCS any happier than for me to buy a 1200, unless I bought a Cleanco instead. So, I truly appreciate your experiences. Keep sharing.

And, it would also piss Bruder off if I bought one, so even better.

What makes you think Bruder would sell you one?
