Old Lake resort and lodge WAY up North of me....

Very cool built in 1929 and in incredible condition....

Elderly lade wanted out fast and sold it cheap to the new owners. Not sure how many cabins the place came with too.

Just the family cabin now....resort closed down about 10 years ago.

HUGE job...but so cool.

You couldn't build this close to the lake these days as they won't let you.

Commercial kitchen appliances of the Right of the dining room....large master bedroom as well off the side too....

entire upstairs huge bedrooms and baths....

Ceilings in the Great Room about 20 feet tall....

Just gave me goose bumps in the place while cleaning it was so cool :)

Zipper wand will give you some perspective as to how big that room alone is....

(Yard stakes put in after pic taken by the way for the high pressure hose :) )

I always enjoy the lake pictures you post. The scenery up there is beautiful.

Almost enough to make the winters worth it.

The older I get, a little bit of winter is just enough....all the MN winter...is now getting to the aches and pains quicker.

I see a Southern States visit again this year in January in our Future :)

Maybe you can come down to Myrtle Beach S.C. I'll rent ya my ocean front condo, and you can scope out a new Mike's Fest location. On Mike's dime of course. :very_drunk:

Need to sweeten the deal?

No hell it doesn't. You people are shills!

It DOES edge well on the side, but head on you have a 2.5 inch gap between the front and back edge and the jets. So, you have to edge everything from the side. That's not usually that big of a deal, unless you're in a residential furnished room or a tight office. Certainly not enough to keep you from purchasing a Zipper.

But it is a factor that makes the tool somewhat less useful for edging in relation to a wand.

So it needs to be brought up by RESPONSIBLE posters.

And I just this week found a marble sized gouge in my back glide where somebody ran it over a metal strip.

True on all of the above....better edging from the side, some metal strips can gouge....

I sometimes lift the head on a sideways tweak when running to the front like I would do with a wand and glide, but a lot of edging is done in the prevac for us too...

Agree with getting tired of cold weather. Give me a warmer climate year round. We may just retire there.

We vacationed this year at Orange Beach in Alabama. What an awesome place.

I didn't even realize Alabama touched the Gulf.
