Had a call come in to clean 12 entry mats. Heavy salt build up!
I'm up for the challenge. What do you think?

As always: how much money are we talking? That could greatly reduce the number of answers to a simple "walk" or "hellss yeeeah".

Looks like a lot of work but that should cover it even if it goes a little south on you.

Vacuum vacuum , then car wash the snot out of them. Then begin your cleaning. :winky:

I was thinking Cimex or brush pro with hard carpet brushes. 50/50 Releasit DS. Let dwell. Rinse and extract with a hard surface brush head, because of raised square design of mats.

Do you have a rug badger type machine? I'd try to "dust" it first and then pressure wash it like crazy.

I wouldn't mess with it going over with releasit first.

Bottom line is...the bottom line: can you get one of them cleaned in no more than an hour? If you think you can - go for it.

This is a large client of ours. I have a wide open area to clean these side by side. That's a good idea with the rug duster. We are tackling the job the week of Nov 9. I will make sure to do a video. Mark Seiger style lol

I might pick them up and stop by a mat rental & delivery place and see what they would charge you.
They could say $40 and you double your money. That would work for me much better than 6+ hours.

Don't get me wrong, the Cimex can make it look better when it's wet... When it dries it still looked dingy to me... I was just messing around because I had some left over Releasit in the Cimex tank.. I ended up flushing it with 240° water after..

I also just cleaned the raised type mat (like you have) with the pressure washer and some scrubbing.. I did dust them in a tumble dusted to remove the bulk of the soil load.. The Badger worked ok too...

Pressure washer definitely. Hang them and blast away. I carry a spray wand and hit stuff like that at 1400 psi with chemical running. Make a PVC rack with some spring clips. When the water runs clear vacuum.

I would use a pressure washer if you have one.
Those mats are rubber backed indoor outdoor mats that can be steam cleaned

Read above

These need a midsize chain link fence and a good pressure washing.

Wash, wash and wash them until the water runs clear.

Do not get to close with the pressure gun as you don't want to make your pressure strokes a new design in the carpet.

Prespray hot, scrubb let dwell until you have scrubbed all of them, then if still set up for pressure washing, the hit them with the pressure washer and extract the excess out.
