I dont have a sebo, I personally think a sebo is to light weight, it sounds like it is having a hard time when you listen to the videos of guys using them. I also don't think they were designed to be used wet.

It's the process and the first thing that is taught.
It also makes sense when you think about it.
You guys are just being sarcastic right?
I never joke about losing money. I'd much rather use equipment that combines steps while still optimizing results.

It's a balance, but ultimately I have to make money or I might as well pay them to wash & wax the truck.

Just got my machine delivered - a whole day early! Broke it out and dug up our chocolate Lab's hair! pretty cool!

I'm a bit confused about the brushes. It came with a white set (installed) and TWO black sets. One seems to be slightly stiffer than the other black set. What is used where?

EDIT: Got into better lighting and now I see that the stiffer set is actually a dark brown...which is for tile from what I understand.

Agreed but your car will always be at its cleanest after the're finished. Maybe like new.
How about the carpets?

Ray I can only charge a finite amount. So with limited production time I have to do the best job possible within a given time frame.

Adding additional steps, without an increase in rate simply shrinks my margin. I can charge more IF the market will bare it. However I personally feel an RE will accomplish the same thing using less labor, there by maintaining the margin.

For the record we are carpet cleaning snobs. We don't clean trashed out pits. Not that we wouldn't, they just won't pay what we ask for that service.

How much time do those additional steps add or subtract?
What do you tell the homeowner when they ask you why you didn't vacuum and agitate like the last company?

BTW Rich do you run your vacuums through piss soaked homes? You must have two vacuums on your trucks, right?

We don't do piss work either. People want a quick fix. A little Foo foo foo juice for a couple of bucks and expect that to solve the gallons of urine soaked into the carpet, cushion and subfloor. When corrective procedures are explained, they acknowledge how it should be done but would like the foo foo.

Problem is the foo foo doesn't last. Guess who is responsible for the odor then.

We pass on piss. 1 in 1000 want it done correctly. Have I told how much I hate VCT? :winky:

But, you run your vacuums through it daily.. I'm not talking about fixing a urinal situation, but bringing that urinal to the next job.. If your guy's pre-vacuum you surely bring the last jobs bacteria with you and smearing in your next custy's carpet.. Kind of gross if you ask me!

Sure but we don't leave it like that. We offer superior cleaning services that not only remove the soil but any trace of piss smeared in with a pre cleaning vacuum.

While on the subject. Are you suggesting that the CRB brushes are thoroughly cleaned between each use. Since they dig deeply into the urine vat? ;)
