Rick, other than the name and a dollar amount, what is different from the other company's compound.

I just bought some but for future reference... If I know it's the same thing but re-named just the like what you guys do with the CRB units..then I will only be looking based on price correct?

I don't think price alone would be a big deciding factor. I think prices will likely be fairly consistent, there isn't a lot of room to discount this item. So the deciding factor would likely lean toward whichever supplier you're doing business with. Whoever you're working with and is helping your company will likely be the source to go with. Lots of stores sell Coca Cola too. ;)

So they were taking product shots for the new Adsorb Ultra at our office today, and I got this text and photo. Thought it was pretty funny...

Adsorb Ultra - Rod’s Personal Choice for Dry Carpet Cleaning Powder “I like my carpet cleaning powder like I like my martini’s - dry, very dry” - Rod

This product comes to us from a different source then our original dry compound. Our original Adsorb product was good. Adsorb Ultra is even better. That has no bearing on what Interlink will be doing. We have simply switched to a new source for our dry compound.

What makes Adsorb Ultra different from our "original" version of Adsorb? First of all, it comes to us from a different manufacturing source. Adsorb Ultra has slightly improved detergency over original Adsorb. It also has a more consistent particulate size. The way this is achieved, is that the particles are filtered during manufacturing to eliminate the smaller/finer particulate. You may wonder, what's so important about particulate size? Having a more consistent texture of the cleaning particles enables better extraction of the compound during the recovery process. Adsorb Ultra also carries CRI certification, Woolsafe approval, and USDA bio-based certification. If you're interested in a powdered cleaner, it's worth giving it a try. I think you'll be impressed. :)

Thank you for clarifying the difference.

your website doesn't say how many lbs of the adsorb ultra is in a container.

i did find that the normal adsorb you offer is only 15 lbs. for $ 46.27

But the interlink supply version is 20 lbs. for $49.98
