We had two Zipper's cleaning 15,000 foot at medical facility earlier in the week. Fast, clean & dry!

Just to make sure you all don't think I am getting .50 cents per sq foot here...
It was .38 cents per sq foot...and was 3252 sq feet.... and then those upper halls for additional...anyway...it all totaled in the end...LOL
And then we have to collect 6.875% for State Taxes ($98.50) to total bill is then $1531.26
So...really, I only get to keep $1432.76 of it....
You can see on my ugly scratch sheet that they just kept adding things to the list...and I just kept giving prices...LOL...
But let's just say it was a welcome and unexpected surprise and this old guy still had it in the tank to knock out in 2.5 hours by himself

Wow, I've never made that much money cleaning carpets that fast. Mark, you are one amazing dude. What does your competition charge? If you have any.

They are less per sq foot by quite a bit now....they vary back and forth...they try to use my pricing structure and then just be a bit less....lately that hasn't worked for them, so they have cut their pricing again significantly...coming in at .20-25 cents, but then they do the "add on extras pricing thing".
We are known for taking on a job like this even last minute and making sure done as properly as possible...
This was new carpet, freshly prevaced in front of me...but still did all the steps of prespray to make sure had good surfactrancy... but did not have to agitate....then extract with a rinse as well....
Couple of the rooms did have heavy soil in them, so had to take some extra time....but it all went well.
There is NO WAY I could have done this kind of work or in that kind of time with wanding...I would have been beat to death....and there a lot later....at least 5 hours of work I would say.....if not more...
Thanks for the explanations, Mark. It appears as though your reputation is doing you well. I like the fact that you're up front and don't have that, all too often attitude of, you screw me and I screw you business philosophy. I hate that!
I still believe in honest advertising and business ethics. It's not unusual for me to get to a house and see that the customer decided on me over my lesser-priced competitor because they wanted to have me clean their carpeting and I lower my price for them when it appears they're stretching their finances to do so. Contrary to popular practices, I'd take those customers all day long.

Mark does not have a CX15
the zipper is faster, easier to use, only needs one person to operate but does not clean as well on heavy grease loads due to no agitation.
Mark can comment on the new but unreleased Zipper Super Spinner.

I've used both the Zipper and the CX-15. The CX-15 is one directional (backwards). It cleans pretty well, but is cumbersome and awkward, so I sold mine to a Chinese restaurant along with some other crap I didn't want. And I made money on the deal.

And will definitely say faster...
The new Zipper SS Spinner is pretty cool though...but with spinners you have to run the pressure higher (still not taking more water really though) and you are going to find that you will probably use the regular Zipper the most....
We use the Zipper about 80% of our cleaning....including residential....but there are times we will still grab a wand (still need a good cleaning wand no matter what) and then for super trashed, we will use an RE (we use Rotovac 360 XL's) .
Let's just say...there are sometimes what you think is going to be the best tool at the moment for a carpet...well...you might need to change up your hammer....
The Zipper will sometimes still need pre agitation and we use the small 10 inch CRB machines (you can get a super sweet deal from Rick Gelanis at Excellent Supply @encapman)
The Spinner is really your go to tool for Greasy Grimy type jobs, so if you were mainly doing really super trashed restaurant work, that could be your go to unit.
I recommend the regular Zipper as the best all around tool if buying a zipper.
With either the Regular Zipper or the Super Spinner, the advantage is it cleans both directions at the same time...
Also, with a spinner on carpet, the crop circles seem to start at the beginning when pulling the trigger...the SS Zipper moves easy and also if you stay on the trigger, you don't have to wait for the spinners to wind up...and really avoids the possible crop circles....
I think that is maybe a bit of the problem with the CX 15...people pull the trigger and are not able to get moving smooth or quick enough to avoid some crop circle problems...
I have only used the CX 15 a couple times and only at trade shows, so my experience I do no have enough hands on other than those few times to give you more info...
But, I really do love the Zipper wands....and the SS Spinner is a cool specialty tool in my opinion too....and built to last!
