Have not used airline hose, but have used garden hose and mounted a similar reel to the roof of one of our Butlers that did not have a live garden hose reel at the time...

It looks very much like your first amazon link....

I mounted it on a aluminum plate like Butler does and then mounted to the roof (again like Butler does)

That was over 10 years ago and that reel has been working just fine...

I got it from Windtrax at the time....

I am just curious if the smaller air hose makes it slower to fill vs a garden type hose...and get the goodyear rubber hose....in my opinion way easier to work with...

i was thinking about that flexzilla line because i use it for another trade and its awesome. super flexible, and not terribly expensive, and the bright color may help against trip and falls.

I've been using a hose reel like your first link with 100' air hose... Had a friend weld some flat plate to the roof of the van with studs to mount it.... Has worked ok but recently the handle broke and the o-ring on the swivel has let water leak some....

I'm looking at using a solution line hose reel to replace it... And probably put a quick disconnect with an on/off lever on half the hose because it sucks to have to disconnect when I need to dump.... I don't have a pump out on my machine....
