It seems like most deodorizers wear off way to quick, maybe my nose just gets immune to them? My favorite scent has been summer air from Bridgepoint.

What's the verdict of the boardies?

Not quite sure what Joseph is asking. Is it:
  1. Which deodorizer leaves a more lasting stink (perfume if you insist on describing it that way).
  2. Or which removes the odor more effectively?
I find strong perfumes (and so do most of my clients) to be offensive and at times worse than the odor. Therefore, I prefer the perfume not to be overwhelming and dissipate fairly quickly. On the other hand some clients (go figure) like the real stinky ones. Also there's a psychological element in having some perfume, to break the connection of the odor and specific area in the client's mind.

I carry a few with me and let the client decide what they prefer.

Also, what odor are we trying to remove?

Try some Proliminator Lemonizer or Sunshire. (I prefer the Lemonizer.) Comes from Chemeisters of Michigan, makers of Grease Eraser. Good stuff and economical in the 5 gallon size.

I really like Proliminator, especially Sunshine. It is a great deodorizer if used according to label directions.

However if you inadvertently mix it with Odorcide it becomes odorless, nuked, gone.

Proved to me how great Odorcide is. However mine gets wasted because the boys glug it due to the lack of odor feedback.

We used to use Core green tea but it is nowhere to be found locally, I loved that stuff. I like the Bridgepoint ones like their spring and summer scents, but they are just masks.

I agree You have to take of the odor at the source first. You have to know what you are using. For an example you can not use an enzyme and then use urine stain remover. The Hydrogen peroxide will kill the living enzymes. There is a lot of good stuff out there just learn how it works first before you use it.

If I could respectfully make a correction. You can use an enzyme with or followed by an oxidiser - infact many baby nappy sanitisers are exactly this. You can't use an enzyme producing, bacterial culture followed by an oxidiser. Examples of cultures include Bridgepoint Biomodifier Xtreme, Masterblend Urinelock and OdorX Unduzit.

Biomodifer Xtreme I think is an enzyme with Hydrocide in it . You can mix those two , a cide like odorcide and an enzyme but urine stain remover is a strong hydrogen peroxide and it is know to kill the living enzyme that are in Biomodifer. I asked them at the main head quarters in Salt lake that question. Masterblend urinelock is an Bioenzyme with encapsulation, this is the same thing A cide like hydrocide and ordorcide is an encapsulation that is why if you spray ammonium on your hand and then spray hydrocide after the smell goes away immediately . but if you use an enzyme and then use urine stain remover they both will not work very well on the spot. The hydrogen peroxide will be working on the enzyme and the enzyme will be killed @Mighty Phil

some are and some are not they are living things that eat the bacterial and break it apart and then you rinse it out. It is not the urine that smells. The urine is just a food source for the bacterial and it is the off gas from the bacterial that smells so bad and our job is to kill and remove the bacterial

Some presprays have living and non living enzyme in them and they are different they are made to eat food oils so not all enzyme's are the same

Mango melon?! @Shawn Forsythe?! Me wants some! How do I obtain this?

It's a long story..Shawn was involved in the creation of the Kleenline chems. Kleenline was Central California Cleaning Supply's own . Some of their stores were bought out by Interlink not too long ago. and according to Scott W. they are not manufacturing them anymore. (I guess that would be competition in house against their Bridgepoint stuff)

Read in this thread that was discussed recently and try calling the Fresno store.

Some of what I just typed might not be 100% accurate.... Shawn can put some windex on it.
