Benefect for residual odor treatment and prochem mint flourosil to just make it smell nice. All my custies love the mint odor but apparantly a natural lemon scent encourages them to spend money. So give the lemon scent away and then sell them scotchgard

If I could respectfully make a correction. You can use an enzyme with or followed by an oxidiser - infact many baby nappy sanitisers are exactly this. You can't use an enzyme producing, bacterial culture followed by an oxidiser. Examples of cultures include Bridgepoint Biomodifier Xtreme, Masterblend Urinelock and OdorX Unduzit.

Exactly right.

I use an Australian product called Odourban E.

It has a spicy fragrance.
I have a spray bottle with it diluted 1:5 and hang in on the handlebars of my Carpet Harley.

Once I clean a few squares out from the wall, I spray that area. Then clean a bit more and spray and so on.

Customers love it.

I break the rules and give all jobs a good bashing with it.

We use an actual Enzyme in our Odor Attack, combined with a strong Oxidizer.
That allows it to achieve better results than either product alone.

Also have a Fruit Slice OdorSolv fragrance which customers love.

Didn't know enzymes were alive.
They aren't..... An enzyme is a protein that accelerates the breakdown of certain soils. You CAN mix enzymes with oxidisers. You CANT mix LIVE cultures that produce enzymes with oxidisers, as the oxidiser kills the ,I e culture. I hope that makes sense.

Biomodifer Xtreme I think is an enzyme with Hydrocide in it . You can mix those two , a cide like odorcide and an enzyme but urine stain remover is a strong hydrogen peroxide and it is know to kill the living enzyme that are in Biomodifer. I asked them at the main head quarters in Salt lake that question. Masterblend urinelock is an Bioenzyme with encapsulation, this is the same thing A cide like hydrocide and ordorcide is an encapsulation that is why if you spray ammonium on your hand and then spray hydrocide after the smell goes away immediately . but if you use an enzyme and then use urine stain remover they both will not work very well on the spot. The hydrogen peroxide will be working on the enzyme and the enzyme will be killed @Mighty Phil
Jeffrey,

I suggest you look to understand the difference between a live culture that produces enzymes, and a harvested enzyme. You are off the mark by a country mile.

Carpet cleaning isn't rocket science. Most of the time we are just cleaning a half inch plastic fiber.
I've met some local cleaners who have every chemical in a chem line on their shelf. And they think they are doctors of our trade. Nuetral shampoos for this, acid shampoos for that, specific fringe cleaners, bla bla bla. And after talking to them I see their eyes go up into their head like they were like my friend Stephen Hawkings............then realize they are just...........................Stupid.

Perhaps 50% of my work requires one or two detergents. Similar soils, soil loads, carpet/upholstery fibre types etc. Stain treatment expands the chemical horizon somewhat, as do various odour sources - not to mention natural fibres and their specific cleaning requirements. Perhaps most of your work is cleaning synthetic fibres of a similar soil type and load.

I really like Proliminator, especially Sunshine. It is a great deodorizer if used according to label directions.

However if you inadvertently mix it with Odorcide it becomes odorless, nuked, gone.

Proved to me how great Odorcide is. However mine gets wasted because the boys glug it due to the lack of odor feedback.
It's funny that after using the Sunshine, or any deo for that matter, for a while, you think it has lost it's potency, but you become adjusted to the fragrance and think you need to add more.

I discovered this by switching to something else and then coming back to Sunshine, using the heavier dose I had been used to. I found it to be too strong.

I am simply looking for a fresh smell when we are done cleaning, because if it looks clean, and smells clean, it IS clean!

My really naughty rough rule of thumb is....

It should be too strong right after you treat an area, that way it gradually decays to something that smells really fresh when somebody resumes using the carpet later.

Sometimes they will be on it very soon and less is more.

Sometimes it's going to be shut up for weeks.

So use again soon, a few sprays. Use again in a few weeks, hit the room twice - hard.

Thank you Ashley, I trust your judgement. While I'm ordering at nuclean is that nitro CT still the jizz?

I still love Nitro CT. Its my main HIGH PH go-to.

For a lower PH cleaner Im using LOL-DIRT i've been testing for Damon at encapstore.com

Ill be getting what I think is the final product shortly with some minor changes, then I believe it will be released to the public on his site.
FULL DISCLOSURE, I've received a full case of the LOL DIRT so far to test, at zero cost to me.

I also received the Grease Magic ODC gallon (including a few Nitro ct Jars) free of charge as a thank-you for some referrals (a few truck mount, and some chemical sales) I sent Nutechs way.

Back on the original subject ... the last time I was at TCS, I picked up an enzyme deodorant. It's been years since I used an enzyme.

I forgot I have asthma.
