Kubota Engine Runs only a couple of minutes

Customer brought in a HM Titan 575 with these symptoms.
1. Started fine, but quit running after a couple of minutes.
We checked the fuel pressure and quantity of fuel delivered, and it was OK.
We tested the inline filter for fuel flow.
We tested the fuel solenoid in the carburetor for intermittent operation.
(when we pulled the solenoid off the carb it looked clean with no gas varnish)
Customer checked with Kubota on a new carb and found out it was $600.
We took off carb and proceeded to clean it out.
Cleaned the main jet and low speed jet, but they were not causing the problem.
Float was OK and needle moved up & down properly.
What next ? ?

What is your guess as to the problem?
We did fix it.

Low oil.

Ignition coil warms up and opens up the circuit (windings) / no spark, no run. Ignition coil cols off and completes the circuit / spark and run.

You can't calibrate those things, if they're out of spec you have to replace them....

The fuel float inlet needle had debris over it from a torn fuel filter element, limiting fuel inlet to a trickle in carb.

Happens more often than most people realize.

I saw a tear in my sons car oil filter, only because the oil filter element is visible when you change it.

Was it a cheap filter? I know Fram oil filters will fall apart.

I didn't put either of these two failed filters in.

The oil filter looked like a defect in manufacturing that wasn't caught in inspection.

The hole was over 1/2" in diameter.

This happens to ours as well---maybe the engine is trying to protect itself to further damage from over heating.
check oil level and age-- maybe change oil n filter.
with the radiator cap Off, bleed the heat exchanger of air bubble- and refill.
clean or change Air filter.
check blower filters.
check waste tank float switch-- maybe stuck due to lint hindering correct operation. maybe clog in waste tank hindering complete draining.

air bubble in the heat exchanger?-- which means low on antifreeze and over heating. so bleed the heat exchanger..

No, when that happens it's been known to cause black holes. The whole world could have vanished.
