Has anyone rigged up a drain at their shops so you are able to attach your dump line to it.

We had a 55 gal. drum set up with a submersible pump that sent the waste water into the sewer system
Just can't keep your mind off women and drugs.
When I built my garage I installed a drain just for waiste water right beside the side door of my van. I pull in, hook up and let it flow.
And the water comes from your waist[e]?

amazingly enough, it's legal to dump on lawns and dirt in Ca but not Nevada.

We have 2- sanitary clean out's with flip tops we dump in. The water goes through a settling filter first the out to the sanitary.

It's only water with dirt mixed in. Though I don't think I'd want the kids running around under the sprinkler - only because it will make them more dirty. That is, unless the dirty water is from some dangerous chemical factory or something like that.

The Sierra club has a meeting hall just across from my shop. I try and dump in their parking lot every chance I get.

Buddy of mine just got busted by the EPA in Minnesota for dumping on the lawn. Another carpet cleaner called it in because my buddy did a better job and took an apartment complex away from him.

just dump the lawfully way every time and you don't have to worry about getting caught.

Every state is different but can not be more lenient than the US clean water act. Kellie is right, dumping on the lawn is perfectly ok, based on the act, but there can not be any run off to adjoining property , or a chance of the waste to enter a storm drain or water way. Depending on how much the Epa wants to be a dick, they can simply give you a fine, but they could also bring in a team, on your dime and do a thorough inspection of the suspected dump site. If they find anything at all, then another team, payed for by you will come in to remediate the problem area. Not knowing the law is not an excuse with these guys. Not in this industry, but have seen other business owners fold up and wither away when the fine, inspection, and clean up bills were handed to them. BTW, a cleaner does not necessarily know its just dirt in their carpet.....It could very well be meth manufacturing residue, grease, oil, whatever.....And thats where the problem lies.
