Works great. Now I have a spare if I ever need two spinners. if not a very fancy spare bearing holder. anybody ever notice how much faster it spins than the turbo hybrid ❓ I think it's because the spray bar is much heavier. Maybe I should just switch them.

I did notice. Yours sounds like a chopper taking off...even at 1200 my TH doesn't sound like that. I've not had the two apart, so I'm not sure on the weight of the bars. I was thinking it might have been the angle of the jets or more likely the spinning resistance of the bearings themselves. Dry and not hooked up my TH spins freely and smoothly but not like there is nothing holding it back...there is some friction.

brand new bearing and spray bar and sounds like a chopper. its smooth as ever again. the th-40 spray bar is much lighter then mine. the bearings are the same so it has to be the weight of the bar. unless they don't use an 0502 jet. a different size would spin it slower.

Ugh.....I am rather disappointed. I got my SX 15 swapped out with the SX 12 and I hate it as much as I hated the 15.
The ring stays on which is nice but it has horrible suction. I love the weight of it but that is the only thing I like about it. :hopeless:

Not totally sold on the SX-15 either. Usually it's just too damn big.

I would not recommend it. It is too big.
The ring on mine kept popping off either during or after damn near every job and it was a PITA to get back in place.
And the SX in general just leaves to floor really wet and to rinse all the product you've got to go over it more.
My Mytee spinner that was like 12-15 years old worked 100% better!

I am really rather upset about the SX.....and Interlink for selling it!
I paid good, hard earned money for it and at this point I am ready to throw it in the trash as soon as I can afford to get the Turbo Hybrid.
I work hard for my money and it pisses me off that I spent so much on a tool I dread using and need to replace with something better.

First chance I'm going to compare them side by side. I drilled the holes out on the sx to a larger size when I first got it. As long as they aren't clogged it leaves it dry enough for me. I haven't used the turbo yet on tile but I did a garage floor and it left it very dry, but so does my sx. It did want to lock down even with the relief. I forgot about the one on the handle.

What would be a good asking price if I decide that I would rather sell the SX 12 to get a hybrid? It's in very good condition, like new really.

I have never seen those at any of the supply houses around here, so I can't imagine I would have the opportunity to try one.
I have a local friend who is an engineer/carpet cleaner and he had mentioned that the Westpak spinner was no good.
What are your thoughts on it? Pros...cons?

@Kellie I was referring to the new gekko type wand you just won. Thats practically all I use.

I'm holding on to my spinners but rarely use either. Sx12 and a turbo hybrid.

My sx12 dried well it could be there's 2 ways to run it. Boot with brush or just brush, with the boot it seals better, much harder to push.

Oh ok! Lol! I thought you meant their spinner. So are you saying that the hard surface tool can pretty much replace the spinner?
That would be amazing!

Yeah...I have to use the brush ring because the tile is never completely flush and it's a PITA to push.

I just borrowed a turbo to do a tile job today. I have the west-pak spinner. There is no comparison. The turbo did an amazing job. I'll be getting one soon.
Floor was fairly dry and the grout cleaned so much easier.
