Does anyone live near Atlanta and can tell me if a different hotel outside the city would be good to stay at during MF? Would it be a hassle to get into town in the morning from outside the city? We don't have a problem with the hotel price but you add in the parking day and night and it adds up. The wife and daughter are coming also and would drop me off before heading out on their own. Is there a nice place to stay nearby? Thanks.

Personally I would stay downtown.

If I wasn't going to I would probably stay somewhere around either Cumberland Mall (75/285) or Perimeter Mall (400) areas...(still not cheap)...don't think I'd want to get out into the burbs beyond that (Marietta or others)

yes in can be a pita getting downtown in the morn/out in the eve

of course there are other hotels downtown....I usually stay at the Hampton Inn.....has limited attached guest parking

hard questions to answer.....

Yeah, traffic will be the reason you'll want to get a hotel almost walking distance from where MF. If money's no concern, then just keep that in your mind. I don't know of any specific hotel either, so good luck. Atlanta is a joke

A lot of road construction going on here in Marietta, Ga. They're building the new Braves Stadium which is causing A lot of traffic.

Any Motel 6 along the interstate will do. But don't even think of using the bed or bathroom. Always wear shoes on the floor and try to sleep leaning against the wall.

Roach motel 6
