I've pulled my seats before. It doesn't take that long and allows for a more thorough clean. I've even taken the spool and tank out to clean out the back. I get bored with to much free time.

Electronics for what?

Mark, I hate to break the news to you but you my dear friend have a serious case of Farkleitous.

Consult your physician asap

Hopefully updated items here in a week....

Had to tear off some electronics to send to Butler to analyze and add too....

And hoping this is all the deeper I really have to go as the next step could be an entire front panel and harness....

Really don't want to tear into it that deep....but I will take it for the team in the name of progress.....

So, am I correct in assuming that you have been experiencing electronic related difficulties with your new unit?

Remote start updates for the Butler.....

Get to do more things :)

Just what I need....more buttons....LOL....

But the rest of the unit....flawless...no issues....Just like Christmas everyday :)

Hey Mark.....is this remote for the Butler TM or the GM van? I tried to get a remote start for the 2015 Pro1200 I bought and service manager said there isn't one available for the Express? And an aftermarket Remote starter would void the warranty. I like to be able to start the Express remotely when I'm home on breaks on cold days, instead of running out to start it. Just lazy at my age. And after my run in with GM on this van, I ain't giving them any excuse to deny me warranty service.

I have remote starters for my GM vans (Express 3500) and those are Viper remotes programmed to run for one hour. That is longest you can program those...

And my Butler has a remote control unit too, but that is getting an update... And will have some more features.

I really don't see where there would be a warranty issue with either one... As I have been running all my vehicles with remote starts for years...

And the Butler of course (still one of a kind) is of course being done with Butler....

What are the advantages to the remote start on the butler?

Can start the Butler from inside the home....
Speed control from the remote
originally couldn't control all aspects of the remote so I opted to just have my Cat pump on at the truck....now will be able to control the cat pump and all features
Love being able to finish up in an apartment and lower the speed of the unit...or completely shut it down...

at 5:40 you can see the remote start feature (an me fumbling around trying to remember how to use it...LOL)

Well, my Clown service manager said nothing was available from GM for the Express. And installing an aftermarket unit would void the warranty. This from a long time Chevy dealership. Smh.
I would like the remote start for the reason of........I stop home between a lot of my jobs, or we stop off for a coffee. If it's really cold out, I like to keep the van running (and heat), or the a/c in the summer. With remote start, there are no keys in the vehicle. It can sit and run and nobody could attempt to take it (you know, the lowly side of town). Try to move it with out the key in the ignition, and it's shutting off.

After looking at my employee discount pricing page, it shows a factory installed remote starter. It can only be ordered with the white van? Go figure.
