Everyday is a Seal-A-Door day here for us!

Even if there is not a bug or mosquitoes, or even a cold or rainy day out....the look people have when we put up the Seal-A-Door is just priceless.

They will look and stare at it a few minutes and usually every client will eventually comment on how cool that is!

Mark,
How often do you find that it just doesn't fit? We have such a wide variety of doors we work through.

Twice this year....

One door about 8 inches wider than normal (handicap situation door) and one where it was just a slight bit tall because of a "Jackpine Carpenter" install....but we still figured a way to make it help us out....

Couple Commercial doors, I have added a couple of my Styrofoam blocks under it....

But otherwise....most every door situation we have found it to be useful

I purchased my Seal-a-Door in the early spring of 2015. I did not use it much during the summer and early fall. I used it allot when the New England weather turned cold.

I have never had a customer comment about the Seal a Door, pro or con.

I got the larger Seal a Door and found that it does not fit approximately 10% of doors, mostly the decorative front doors on upscale homes that are too tall and/or too wide for the large Seal a Door. It also does not work on doors that have an arch.

I suggest making the Seal a Door wider (6" to 1'), the excess can be rolled around the pole when not needed, and un rolled so wider doors will seal.

The Seal a Doors could accommodate taller doors if locking poles like Zip Wall poles were used instead of the spring loaded poles.

I get many comments on it, my customers love the care given to their homes and the fact that they don't have to lock up their pets.
They almost always ask what I am putting in their door and when I tell them, they love it! And if they don't ask, I tell them anyway just so they understand how to open it if they need to.
As for fitting doors...I've been very lucky with the standard size. It fits the large majority of doors I come across although one time it was almost to tall! An older house.
I love my Seal A Door and think it's a great add on.

Hey Steve....I just wanted to mention that we do have a "prototype" unit being tested out east; it can accommodate normal width doors (36") all the way up to 48" wide doors. Still have a couple of "kinks" in the concept, but we're working on it.

We do have the "Jumbo", Kevin, that will fit an 8' door very nicely; the arch is a problem for sure. Without going into a lot of detail, the bunching of fabric would make it impossible to have an 8' door also fit a 6'8" door...the zip wall poles, therefore, becomes a "non-issue". I guess if none of your customers recognize the additional care you are taking, the 10% you can't use it on become a "so what" issue. Actually, our original objective was to be able to fit 80% of the entryways...and we've met that. Our belief is that we can fit approximately 95% of the entryways. The "expandable" ( to fit varying widths) is currently being tested.
