So, currently running a portable. hoping to get a truckmount this year or next. I would like to get a rotary for some of those nasty places I have to do from time to time or carpets that need a bunch of rinsing.

What would you all recommend in this situation?

Is there something that would work well with a portable and also with a truckmount or am I looking at two different rotaries to accomplish this?

thats awesome. Would it be better to wait and get something bigger when I get my truck mount or does the 360i do just as well?

The RV360i is more versatile between the portable and TM vs. the RV360XL which a lot bigger and imho wouldn't be a good match for portable use...

I have only played with the 360XL at trade shows which was always hooked to TM's.... My 360i with a portable seems to be a better fit.... I'm an OG rotovac user...

Travis,

I'd take my rotary money(2200) and put it in the tm down payment fund. Going from the porty(5 years) to the tm was a wonderful experience. You will be better off in the long run starting with the porty, your learning the tricks! I was stupid, should have done it years sooner. Don't be me!

I have a 360i and it's great. Nothing will do better than an truckmount and a rotary extractor. I would not get a larger rotary.

Keep in mind - even if you turn your pressure down to like 250 and get smaller jets you are still going to be going through water MUCH faster. And possibly dumping after every room.

If you have auto fill and auto dump a 360i would be great.

Hey now, maybe we won't share a room in Nashville. Ya know I could kick bawb out of Meg & Kellie's tub. :winky:

Bawb prefers to be the "little" spoon............not that there is anything wrong with that............
