Pet safe cleaning

I have a customer that wants the green cleaning, she is allergic to everything, she wants something safe for pet, I have some
Ultrapac® Pre-Treat with LVC AND All Fiber Deep Clean!
With
Flex ICE pre treat and
Powdered Neutralizing Extraction Rinse
And also
Pro's Choice pro Powder Advanced
Can I use these, the deep clean has a nice fresh smell to it

It cracks me up when people are concerned about things being "pet safe" and not "human safe". If it's safe for us, wouldn't it be safe for your pet?

I get that pets lick paws or fur that has contact with the carpets or upholstery and humans don't tend to like their hands, clothing or soles of their shoes, but seriously!

Procyon has no soap. Check out their website. It may be your go to product for people who have chemical sensitivities (real or imagined)

Use a strong multi-enzyme and rinse well.

We use Prochem Axiom products, but there are other products out there that are hypoallergenic and without any fragrance at all. When we get customers that are extremely sensitive we apply any product we might use in their house to paper towels and let them smell and see for themselves before we use them in their house.
All this takes extra time, so you need to charge extra for these customers because they are usally very discriminating about everything you do.

Chet that is a very good idea. Let them test the scent, or see if they react. Outstanding, and I really like the paper towel idea.

We work with a lot of discriminating clients and have had to come up with procedures to protect ourselves and that help our customers to approve of our methods or products. It helps that we inspect all new jobs so we can spend more time communicating with them and seeing what all their concerns are and then making sure we can address those concerns and "dramatically exceed their expectations".

Detergent not soap. I cleaned for a lady today, for the 3 or 4 th time, who is allergic to everything. I make her leave during the cleaning. I use peroxide and the hoss. I explain not everything will come out but she's fine with it. Fresh water rinse. It comes out pretty good.

I was nearly commenting on the comment of soap, which shouldn't be used unless rapid resolving is the goal.

No, I get that Gene. I was merely saying that "cleaning solution" can be used instead of soap or detergent. You can tell Mrs Smith, I use a environmentally friendly cleaning solution. Could just be water or whatever

but I would also Add----
The customer and the Pets must not be in dwelling during the cleaning and may not enter the area for 2 hours after the work is done. This is because Studies have shown that the cleaning process kicks up a lot of allergens that are in the carpet. Using a Zipper might reduce this factor.

Let us assume that a pet is sick two days out of a year. You have a 1 to 180 chance that the pet will be sick the day after carpet cleaning. We know it is unrelated, but the customer does not. Be prepared for this scenario no matter what you product you choose.
