and when you go to bang the head off, use a rubber mallet, not a metal hammer..

DuPont Teflon silicon lubricant at Ace hardware for the felt rings and threads. I usually do so after about 8 hours running time. Use a block of wood with a rubber hammer that has enough size/weight to get the thing loose. When I first got the 360 I was using too small a rubber hammer and I would loosen the vac shoes by beating on them. With a bigger rubber hammer I could loosen the whole disc and not dislodge the vac shoes.

I just kick the drivers with swift light heel kick. I think it's good that I alternate between the cleaning head and pad driver on a daily bases.

They come off easy... Sometimes I don't even kick them..just a slight slap downward with my hand does it.

I put a wrench with rag on top rotary area and with just hand, can break loose.

Easy fix for now....call rotovac and get the replacement shoes....

Instead of beating it to hell and ruining the whole thing.. It'd be cheaper to cut the plastic shroud off and with a torch warm around the thread to expand.

The RX-20 has a tool that hooks into all the heads to spin it off. About 2' long. Eliminated beating on anything.

5/8 inch wrench is better in my opinion that crescent wrench....

You'll suck the felt O-ring right off...

Anti seize on anything you remove that doesn't need Teflon tape. Saves a lot of headaches.
