amongst all that junk I found these gems..

I re-grouted 1600 feet of Travertine with sanded grout, using my fingers to smooth it in all with ONE glove.

We buy them at Sam's, same price.

I did get a 10 pack of teflon tape for like a buck when I was shopping there this week. I have to stay out of there. I buy way too many un-necessary things while there.

I love going!

No different brand but yes high quality gloves. They don't sell XL???
We buy small, medium, large and order XL. I'll have to try those from Harbor.

Are those really XL and fit normal decent man size hands?

I hate it when the XL labeled gloves require a sizable struggle to put on and rip right off because they're too tight...

I went Friday for a check up. He said I was in better health than he is and he's 35. Just because I can be a dik, I asked him if in his opinion if I was Mighty.

He laughed and said yes, in his opinion, I was mighty.
He did say to quit eating so much candy. Fooker! : (

Had two doors to plane.

Bought electric planer at Harbor Freight, about $16 bucks with the coupon.

I could care less if the thing broke after planing the two doors. Would have thrown in the garbage and still been happy.

Half the stuff you buy at Home Depot is coming out the same factories.

The don't sell much quality but for short term use its not bad. I wouldn't suggest buying your good tools there.

Their furniture sliders are useless. HD's are the best I've found.

LOL We just bought a set to move a bunch of filing cabinet. They worked fine. ??? Dirt cheap too.

Although maybe anything works with that kind of weight.

Great store for buying a one-time-use tool. If you don't wanna pay big bucks for a specialty tool, pick up a cheap HF tool, use it once or twice, toss it. I picked up a nice undercut saw when I replaced my kitchen floor. It did the job, for $69, and I then gave it to my installer. He'll probably burn it up with the amount of work he does. It's a must have tool if removing subflooring under cabinets.

I've had pretty good luck with the HF digital 7" polisher I use for stairs and some upholstery. I'm on my 2nd one. The first one last a couple of years - $40.

One thing they sell is the 5" velcro driver pad and polishing pads for your variable speed polisher. They work a treat for doing showers, counters and crusty exterior glass. I wish I could get a soft, dense, velcro-backed brush for upholstery.

Most of their tools are low quality and fail quickly.

Maybe 10% are OK.

ok maybe it was but coming out was painful. :winky:

j/k my body and drugs it didn't take much to put me out. She said "we are ready" and next thing she said "Mr Chavez we are all done".
I don't remember a thing. They could have taken photo's made and video and uploaded it to youtube. Had a party around my ass. I would have never known. I was out and back like a light switch.
