Does the SEBO duo do a good job on residential carpet?

It's a turd....... Good for stairs if your a cheap ass like me and don't want to fork out the coin$$$$ for a 10" CRB... Although I do rarely use it anyways.... I figure I have a RV360i and can use that on the stairs that really need it... And I also got one of those shitty Oreck Orbiters, another turd..... The guys who recommend those tools don't have a RE they use... I learned from a young age (9yearsold) that the wand is for the birds....

@Able 1 What says you?!?

Lemme get this straight. At age 9 you quit playing with your wand?

Let me apologize, I always understood that was when you found it. :shifty:

No, I found and played with it at the ripe old age of 3.... I'd make that lil bugger hard and show it to everyone........ My parents were embarrassed.... :icon_redface:

I learned to be lazy and use power tools to make my life easier..... :winky:

@Mark Saiger Which brushes do you use with commercial? I 15 inch CRB, but just use the white brushes for everything.

The brushes are color coded different for each size unit....

for our 10 inch units, they are Brown Brush for commercial...

The 10 inch units standard brush is white.

We have white standard, and brown commercial brushes on each van...

We do have a set of Soft Black brushes for wool also in our shop, but have not had any rugs that we have used them on yet....but there might be a day we need them coming up even this week....

RE's are way too slow for me.. I did have the first 360 for a week or two and didn't like how wet it left the carpet (probably bad technique).. For me with two guys prespray, crb, wand makes the most $ense.. I don't charge enough to be slowed down that much.

That's the way to do it with 2 guys, I think.

The RE is a great option a lot of times when it's just one man.

Like a very well paying hobby of some sort?

Don't get me wrong I like working by myself and actually prefer it, but I do feel like an inefficient idiot when I'm doing it..

Keith try an XL. I think you're jerkin yourself off with a wand.

It only appears like you're going faster. An RE isn't that much slower. Plus given that you feel less of the wear & tear you can keep production numbers up and more importantly deliver a superior end product to your clients.

I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing, It's working! Jacked my prices a bit, and no push back, and I don't advertise(just SM).. When I get REAL old I might give it a shot.

When I raise my prices near yours, I might consider.. We have a very competitive market and(most of) the guys that charge more then me, don't do half of what we do.

I bet it's a great tool! I just have more work then I can handle, doing it the way we do it...

You run like the wind coming out of Jimmy's ass!!

Lol yeah, real fast for a moment, then him figuring he doesn't want to embarrass his wife at Walmart he might try to contain himself, then he would walk fast and crop dust the rest of the shoppers.:icon_twisted:

So, you are saying you can run like the wind for 5 seconds?
