strange there have been critics of a v-8 powered unit yet never about a PTO.

Is this a serious statement?
On one you already have the V-8. Factory installed. Factory warranty.
On the other you are using a SECOND V-8 motor. When you only need 30-60 hp.

I have tried my whole working career to have more than I need, why wouldn't that apply to what I work with to make more money than I need as well.
We only need 80 hp cars why do you need more hp?
You only need to drink water, why drink anything more?
You only need to eat once every couple of days, why eat 2 or three times a day?
WHILEVWORKING, HAVING MORE POWER USUALLY MEANS FASTER OR MORE EFFICIENT WAY OF PERFORMING THE TASK THUS MAKING IT EASIER AND MORE PROFITABLE.
ME, BECAUSE I WORK HARD, SP THAT MY FAMILY CAN HAVE A BIT MORE THAN I NEED.
but do keep in mind I am just a janitor.

I don't think eating every couple of days is good for you even if you pig out on 2K calories a day you would be in pain after eating, and still hungry the next day unless your over wait and living off body fat.
