Back in February 2005 I held the first Mikey's Fest gathering in Santa Cruz Ca.

I think 75 or so cleaners from around the US showed up. My garage was ground zero, no fancy hotels or meeting rooms. We spent a day cleaning a roller skating rink and a funky motel down by the board walk. Vortex owners and VLM guys working in harmony..
Day two had us cleaning a pizza parlor and listening to a handful of presenters at Keith Collins small shop in Watsonville.
I kept the event in town for a few more years and San Diego before heading east to Nashville for two years. We went back west for a show in Sacramento then Vegas and another in Santa Cruz. A mini fest in Indy as well..
We took last year off and joined up with Larry Cooper to help add to his great shows with classes and outside activities. This coming event in Vegas is going to be loaded with fresh new MF style happenings that I'm also very excited about...Stay tuned for some big announcments
Next week's return to Nashville has me super excited as we return to the original idea of going out and doing some real cleaning as a group of dedicated carpet nerds. I love that a charity organization will be benefitting from our efforts and our (famous) raffle this year.
I'm also blown away about the collection of KILLER presenters that I was able to put together for this show.
I know I say it every year, but this Mikey's Fest will be the BEST ever!

I haven't been to a Vegas Experience yet. What can I expect there? Is the convention worth attending, or just the trade show.
Is MF just part of the trade show, or do I need to pay for the convention to attend that?
Give me some details so I would be convinced to attend.
And I heard there is free beer. True or false?

I'm not here to rock the boat. If my presence is viewed this way, then I'd rather bow out gracefully than cause controversy. So if my participation is considered anarchy by the founder of the board, then others must feel the same way. I wouldn't want to take away from the other great things MF has to offer. So I'm happy to open the spot to someone who would be better received.

And I'm sure Fred would be relived to not have to be in the same room to video tape me.
