i took Friday, Saturday and today off so I could get out of town and let my mind rest.
I ended up doing a small job Friday before we left and on the way home I got a call for a dog crap emergency. I'll go do that one tonight.
I'm not complaining, because I love how busy I've been, but I think once my wife graduates and goes back to work I'm ordering a second van. Time to get my sons out on their own.

I just got back from a mini vacation too. Went to the desert on Thursday...It is pretty funny how worked up some people get when you tell them that you won't be able to be there until the second or third week of August. But whatever.... I had a nice time....

I never took education serious. Never studied, never took a book home. Got to college and wasn't prepared for it. Tried going back several times as I got older but still couldn't manage my way through it. Working, being a parent and a student was more than I was capable of.

Many people swing it with the same and they have my respect, I couldn't.

The thing is with kids as parents the expectation is your going to school. Like college. I have a 27 year old RN with a bachelors degree. A school teacher working on her masters. My son just got hired at Northrop and has been in college.

We never asked if you want to we always stressed your going.

I pushed them all. The oldest got one year and just told me "dad I don't care for it, and I'm just wasting money ". The middle didn't even try, now she regrets it. The youngest will be Juniors this year.

We know Sam... Just looking at your "your and you're" specifics, gives it away.
English grammar was taught to us in Jr. High. Hopefully College isn't so dumbed down that they are teaching this in College but it wouldn't surprise me either. Mr Miller knows the difference as well.

With Student loan debt and very few jobs for the ridiculous degrees most are graduating with, your oldest did you a favor. Your not you're. :hopeless:

Chill chill chiiiiiilllll just yanking your chain.

You said it Doc!

All my kids went to a community college with very little debt. My school teacher acquired more debt in UC Bakersfield her master will add the most debt.

Still she'll make 65k a year after she gets her master with retirement and full medical.

My nurse makes that now and owes less 10k in debt. Full medical and retirement too.
