Brian Hanna posted this on September 1st, 2013.

It's with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that my best friend passed away this early morning. In the end, the cancer was too widespread when first discovered and it was an impossible battle to fight. He was with loved ones when he finally left us and is now at peace and no longer in pain.

He touched may people in many different ways and considered you on Mikey's board all as friends. He often sent me the link to a thread on interesting topics or debates. When reading those, I could feel the connection he had for all of you and he would talk about you as if you were his brothers.

Thank you for all the best wishes, support and love you have shown him over the years and especially in the last few weeks.

I didn't think I could still cry this many years later, but I am.

Ken was that good of a friend.

Ken was that special a human being.

Ken enriched my life, and for that I will always be grateful.

I will miss him as long as I live, I know.

I can't find any more of the right words to say, but I couldn't find any better place to say them than right here with so many mutual friends whose lives he touched.

One of the very last pictures taken of Ken. This was on 7/27/13 and when he honored me by being the best man at my wedding.

Thanks for reminding us about the date, Jim. (Sioux will tell you I am terrible with remembering anniversaries.)

I always miss Ken the most in Vegas. That's where he and I would get together every year. Probably the classiest guy in the industry... except for Mikey, of course.

Miss him. I spoke to Mikey and frankly ashamed we didn't keep the scholarship going. I asked Mikey to get it back up and running. I backed away after the first one because I did not want it to be about me and left that to Mikey and Mikeysboard to run with it. Mikey doesn't seem interested in starting it back up what do you guys think and is there anyone willing to step up and be in charge? We had enough money raised to roll over for a couple of years but Mikey decided to use it all at once. This is why we need several people to take the reins so it can be a lasting tribute and not a one and forget it. That's what I was afraid of and isn't a fitting tribute to a man that gave so much of his time freely to better our industry and to help those just starting out or even those that had been around forver. I am willing to help I just don't want to be in charge. I can be to polarizing and mikey can be a huge ass neither one of us should be the face of it we are NOT Ken Snow not even close.

Following his death with every one shared their favorite moment(s) with Ken, I learned what selfless man he truly was. I still kick myself for not taking the time to meet him. I envy those of you who have had the pleasure of his company and those who are able to call him a friend or family.

Ken was indeed a class act. Often jumped to my defense and did it with class! Truly a unique individual and obviously sorely missed by many!
