With all the intelligent minds on here, how come no one has invented a spray product that prevents pets from urinating on carpet?

Some lady today told me she uses chili peppers soaked in water with some other crap mixed and sprays it in areas so her dog won't pee there. Unfortunately, my black light proved her spray didn't work.

Are you thinking along the same concept of fabric protection? Or are you wanting to reduce your customers calling you frequently?

I'm thinking a product that you could spray on carpet before moving into a place that would deter pets from wanting to urinate on the carpet. Period. That's why it's worth millions. I had a client who owns an animal hospital. Don't think she's a vet herself, but I was talking to her about it one day. Last time I seen her she said she talked to her staff to brainstorm ideas on the idea. Million$$$

You know how dogs usually don't pee where they eat/sleep. What if there was some sort of product that prevented them from wanting to urinate in certain areas when applied.

They would just find somewhere else to pee.............like...............in their bed.

And those of you who allow your dogs to sleep with them just think of the huge contaminated filth you lie in.

Don't shine a black light ever!

The only spray that would prevent urination is that rubberized leak seal stuff you see on TV.

Grab the dog by his tail and lift straight up. With your right hand, spray the leak seal all over his junk until it is well encased. Allow to dry before letting your dog in the home.

Also works on mothers-in-law.
Some burning sensations or rash may develop. Handle with care as they swell, or they may blow like a water balloon.

The majority of products are designed to counter cats spraying and scratching furniture. The last one I saw had a nasty odor, customer had applied it to her upholstery as the cat was spraying on the back corner of the sofa. I'm sure the cat is still spraying somewhere, that's what they do. Same with a dog, when take your dog for a walk, he will stop and pee a little in many places. Marking his territory. Probably doing the same in your home.

There is a simple solution... Pets belong outside of the home... Yes, I live in a place where it's warm year around, no mountain lions, coyotes, alligators, wolves, snakes to eat the pets...

If my kids or anyone pissed or pee'd in my place, they're ass would be sleeping outside also....

We need to think like Tesla. Electromagnetically charged carpets that SHOCK THE MONKEY! Or pet of your choice.

Urinating completes the the charge and bam junk fried or semi scorched.

That would literally make a hot dog on the spot.

They would only pee once!

Unless they are successfully re-programmed when they are young, they will simply establish all their behaviors according to their innate animal instincts.

Despite the frequency that I find myself envisioning punting a customers mangy rat-dog through the nearest wall, in the end, the blame lies on the owner.

Proper training is not available in convenient spray bottles.
