So anyway, I'm in the market for another Light. I go through these things like candy, so what's the best one around $100?

Supposedly I'm on a waiting list for a Cobb, but was told it would probably be a week, and that was 3 weeks ago I think.

Anyone have first hand experience comparing cobb's to hydroforce ax174?

Cobb's light is awesome. Well built, very bright light, battery charge lasts for quite a while before recharging and they were a pleasure to deal with.
This light made me over$1000 bucks last week in urine treatment jobs. Don't sweat how much it costs.

You're right. It does look light one of the new age lights that we all have. It makes me feel better to think that it was stolen, so let's stay on that mindset, lol

I bought two of Cobb's $230-240 range lights.

One of them was stolen right out of a spotting bucket while I was vacuuming a small apartment unit. (three days after I got it) Interestingly I just showed the light to the supervisor of housekeeping of the property.... And a week later she was fired.
(I brought it up to her bosses immediately after my light was gone that I just showed her how I inspect for urine...) They never told me that's why she was fired but I'm pretty sure they questioned her and maybe she was uncomfortable answering.. I don't know. But I'm glad she got laid off. (nobody else knew what that light was and nobody knew it was in that bucket hanging on the Orbot handle, buried under spot removers, brushes, microfibers, etc.)

I gotta be honest Matt.....I have know idea I thought of this when I saw this post....I'm guessing you would have to get the biggest mag for brightness.....and I think RadioShack sold the bulbs but that's a bust now....but I need one too so I'm checking it out....I even thought of the portable spot lights hand held like you put on a tripod to but haven't had time to see if they make bulbs yet.

Call me impressed, apparently the note of my request had been lost or something but when Cobb supply saw this post they tracked me down. I just ordered one and will do a write up comparing it to my ax174

Sorry, I forgot about what I said, lol. If you want a good laugh, picture a black light bulb inside this shop light as

my FIRST urine light. I looked like an IDIOT walking through my customers house
