I know Marty is going to love another video....

Just moments of where prespray if applied uneven in some places...you will notice (as most of us do know)

And times when an inline sprayer will malfunction....and hopefully notice...but some techs don't notice.

and...how many times can I get something stuck in my Tom Conway wand in one day...had a few moments....

And the colder weather setting in made this one of the toughest floors to clean...humps and bumps everywhere this time!

@Mark Saiger why would you waste so much energy just to show us where there's no pre spray?

You could at least show us a comparison that would cause a stupid pre spray argument like SS1vsFlex or SS1vsGreaseEater or something along the lines of that.

Well now that you mention it... That actually was taking place all last night I understand on another forum. But I can't see those types of things so I'm only going by second-hand knowledge... And screen shots :)

I've used the "other forum's" chems in the past. Nothing to brag about. There's no need to worry about it.

No prespray, just a Steam Way Powermatic, Steam Way wand, and Steam Way Formula A through the truck mount. Back in the 1970's.

The top picture had just been cleaned with a portable steam machine.

That being said, Mr. Saiger is right about pre spraying, especially on those restaurant jobs, particularly olefin.

those pics don't count. That was with carpet that was made to be cleaned. Today's crap is made to be thrown away.

a 175 (or Cimex :icon_redface:) would make a far better/faster pre scrubber on THAT carpet.

Some one is going to start bringing three vans full of toys to jobs and blow you out of the water Saiger.
or put a pad driver under your RVXL and Red pad it.

Actually had the RV and red pad...nope...this dang floor was a small mine field of mole hills, valleys, crevices, bumps....more bumps.....Ridges...

A cimex maybe with Shampoo brushes might have done the trick....but this floor surprised me this time....

I have been able to Zipper the entire thing in the past...something about the current weather messing with foundations...including my own home....

But....we got it done...and the little 10 inch CRB...hopping...skipping...and buzzing along did the job....(and a wand)

We actually did pretty good time...in and out with the two vans in Two hours...did very well per hour $$$ Too....

:)

But...everyday...a new surprise somewhere...just had to roll with it :)

I was just talking to the family about this today too...the old days and one single step cleaning...

@Jim Pemberton post about prespray...or could say lack of I am excited to talk to my dad so he can remind me and fill me in on what we started using...I kind of remember...

But will be fun to talk to my dad about the old days :)

Mark your best video yet, outstanding job. It clearly illustrates the need for proper procedure and cleaning solutions as well as taking into consideration the individual job.

We mostly quit Hydro Force style prespray and went to Multi Sprayer so we know we've always got the proper concentration and avoid the prespraying with water screw-up.
That's a good point it points out the differences between the two methods and the possible problems associated with using the hydro Force

I love my Hydroforce sprayers, best time saver ever invented. We prespray hot, right from the truck and by the time we hook up the vac hose, it's enough dwell time. Like everything, your Hydroforce needs maintenance. Take I apart and clean it. Better still, run a 100 mesh strainer on your intake line. The multi sprayers are good but slower on big jobs and yes they need maintenance too.
