It's been awhile!
I bought a new TM. I got a wand with a green glide. Not a fancy wand but good enough for an employee..
Issue with wand:
The chemical meter will not adjust at all with this wand. I have tried. Different jets, different quick connect. Also, taking everything apart to make sure no trash was in the line.
So, they sent me another wand the same one. Same issue. Changed jets and all.
All of my other 9 Wands and tools adjust with no issues. I tried these new wands on 3 different tms.
The dealer is going to send me a reducer to put in my TM to help it pull chemical. But, I just don't understand why this would have to be done.
Any suggestions?

Also, I know the jets need to slightly graze the glide when they spray. But this particular wand sprays behind the glide. Never spraying on the actual carpet at all.

Its kind of hard to see in the pics what I'm talking about on the glide.
TCS in Atlanta has been awesome. And will duke has been very helpful with my strange chemical problem. He is first rate.

Should I just get a different wand and glide and give up?

This was maybe 500 had it rolled into the financing. I did that so I wouldn't have to come out of pocket. If I have to buy a new wand and glide $600 max. I have nicer wands but this one doesn't have to be the best. Just good..

Looks like it was not built with a glide in mind. From the picture it seems like it will hit in the right spot if it did not have a glide.
Unless you can adjust the jet angle or work without a glide, I don't see how it would work.

On the positive side, it sure looks like it will keep the back of the glide real clean :winky:
You can get some real good wands for that money. Can you get the $ back?

It looks like the manifold is aimed to just graze the wand with no glide. Add the glide and it sticks out more.
With the hard line it doesn't look adjustable without slightly bending the line and mounting tabs. I agree with Mike - don't waste too much time on this wand....

Thanks that's what I'm thinking I'm just going to see if they will return them both and send me something else. Decent wand TCS can send me with a glide? Good wand in a budget?

Thanks guys even after being so busy doing office work the last 4 years. I get back on here. And bam you guys help again. Fyi being back on a van working is fun. But I'm to picky. Everything has to work just perfect. I drive the employees nuts lol.
Hopefully will duke see this. Cause he already thinks I'm bonkers about this wand. He's been great. 4th TCS

I have a lot of flow from the fresh tank to the Cat pump in my TM (5/8" garden hose). There is a ball valve in the line so I can control the flow from the fresh to the pump, so as to increase the draw from the chem jug if need be.

Simple and it works every time.

I still do things the old fashioned way, my chem feed is on my mix tank. When fresh water comes in, it draws the chemical. Not dependent on flow through the wand. Manufacturers say it is better not to have chemical going through the pump, but I haven't had any problems. Probably because I flush my system once a week.

Don't get ANY wand without adjustable jets. When the spray hits the glide ... you have a problem.
Not worth it.
Most people never change the jets angles. And some of the mechanisms out there that allow you to do it, don't work that well either.
How many people here will actually change the angle? (Past the first week that they got it, once the novelty wears out).

Just get a good everyday wand that will do the job and don't over think it. However, a good wand just like a carpet cleaning machine, is one of the best investments and return on your money you can make.
Worth every penny.

What?
Are you insane?
Of course that don't change it after a week or so.
BECAUSE YOU SET IT WHEN YOU GET IT AND LEAVE IT THERE.

You're an idiot.

spoken like a true tightwad.
Why is that Mike?
And why are you taking it out of the full context in which it was mentioned? Which was:
