Don't you have a moisture detector? Sometimes it's better than the light.

I think you just forgot it at the last house you used it... or its fallen behind something in the trailer. Who would want a black light besides a Carpet Cleaner or a kid. :headscratch:

Call me impressed, apparently the note of my request had been lost or something but when Cobb supply saw this post they tracked me down. I just ordered one and will do a write up comparing it to my ax174
Got it in today! I don't have any urine stains at my house, but lint sure shows up a lot better with Larry's light than my ax174. I'll post more after looking for pee

We have both and I do prefer the ax174. Larry has been great to deal with and did upgrade our light to his newest LED. The only problem I've had with the ax174 is they do not last long. I wonder if @scottw could point in the direction of a warranty claim or replacement? They really don't last much more than a year and our guys keep them in their personal padded "go bags", they don't get banged around the truck. I have 3 on my desk right now that have stopped working, out of the 6 we own.

We did have some issues with batteries not lasting as long as they should. I am not aware of flashlights that stopped working for other reasons. But if they last over 1 year, our warranty is no longer involved and I may never hear about it.

If you want to send lights back to me, I will have our repair department look them over to see why they are not working. No promises of repair without knowing what the problem may be, but at least we may both learn something about what is happening to the lights after a year.
